Terms of Service

These Terms are between you and Sun Bo (孙博), the sole proprietor operating the ProductIdeaScout software service under the ProductIdeaScout brand. The operating address and jurisdiction for this service is Building 5, Phase 5, Haima Park, Zhengdong New District, Zhengzhou, Henan Province, China. ProductIdeaScout can be reached at [email protected].

ProductIdeaScout is a software service for product idea validation. You can submit a product idea, receive a free preview, and purchase a paid Validation Decision Pack generated from public source evidence and public user discussions.

You are responsible for the account, email address, and authentication method you use with ProductIdeaScout. You must provide accurate account and checkout information and use the service only for lawful business, product research, and validation purposes.

Do not submit secrets, credentials, private customer data, regulated personal data, unlawful content, or content that you do not have the right to use. ProductIdeaScout is intended for product research, not surveillance, identity profiling, or private investigation.

A paid Validation Decision Pack costs $39 per report as a one-time purchase unless a different price is shown at checkout. No subscription or recurring billing is created. When Paddle checkout is used, Paddle may act as merchant of record for the payment transaction and handle checkout, tax calculation, payment processing, receipts, and refund workflows. ProductIdeaScout remains responsible for product delivery and product-side support.

After payment is confirmed, full research starts and reports are normally delivered by email and in the application in 30-45 minutes. Delivery may take longer when public sources are unavailable, the job queue is busy, or third-party providers are degraded.

Refund requests for Paddle transactions follow Paddle's Refund Policy, Paddle buyer terms, and mandatory consumer rights. The Refund Policy explains the 14 days request window, Paddle receipt and paddle.net request routes, and timing for approved refunds.

You may use your purchased report for your own product, research, investor, team, or planning work. ProductIdeaScout retains ownership of the service, software, templates, research workflow, public sample assets, and underlying systems.

Public sample reports and sample downloads are static demonstration assets. They are not customer reports, do not expose private report URLs, and may differ from the exact output generated for a paid idea.

Reports summarize available public evidence and decision rationale, but they do not guarantee product-market fit, revenue, investment outcomes, customer demand, legal compliance, or business success. You remain responsible for your own product and business decisions.

ProductIdeaScout may be unavailable during maintenance, incidents, provider outages, or source access changes. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service when needed to keep the product reliable and compliant.

We may update these Terms as the product, payment flow, or legal requirements change. The Last updated date shows when the current version took effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, China, unless mandatory consumer protection rules or Paddle buyer terms require otherwise for a payment transaction. Contact support first so we can try to resolve account, billing, or report delivery issues directly.
